I just wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the service at Whimple on Tuesday taken by yourself.  You certainly made it feel like a joyous occasion.  So many people commented on how lovely it all was and some even said it was the best funeral they had been to!!

Thank you so, so much for the perfect manner in which you conducted our wedding. We have lots of pictures of people laughing as well as looking serious at the appropriate moments.

Thank you for the lovely service you gave our Dad. It was really personal, emotional but with some humour and you captured so many of the things we loved about him. A number of people also said how lovely the service was and we wanted you to know that.

Neither of us got a chance to say thanks after the ceremony in December, we were kind of swept away as soon as it was all over, but we both wanted to say thanks for making it go so well. Heather was particularly glad as you made her feel less stressed and nervous (the ceremony was never going to be her favourite part!). Thanks again from us both.

I've never been to a funeral before where I felt so like the person supporting the family knew the person. It meant more to us than you will ever know. Thank you so much for the very warm and caring attention you gave us particularly as I was just SO surprised – even when I arrived I had no idea why people were sitting in rows in the room. The service was perfect and I couldn’t have added anything by being involved in the planning.

Alicen was brilliant! We could not have asked for a better celebrant. She introduced us to some great ideas that we would not have come up with on our own and really helped us develop what we had in mind. Alicen was calm, confident, warm and organised. She worked in plenty of humour (which we asked for), really engaged with the guests to deliver a ceremony that many of our friends and family have described as "the most personal, unique and enjoyable wedding ceremony they had ever been to"

I am very grateful indeed for the care that you took and the advice you gave for the organisation of the funeral service for J.E. The time you allocated in preparation and speaking to those who knew J meant that, as so many people commented, what you said was just right. And the whole order of service, and its component parts, were perfect, so that we ended with a simple and very appropriate mix of prayers, reflection and music.
